THE MODEL
The 1972 BMW 3.0CS is a classic icon of BMW's E9 coupe series, blending elegant design with impressive performance. THE CAR
The current owner, the former President of the BMW Car Club of America, purchased the car in 2009 from Carl Nelson of La Jolla Independent. It had undergone an overhaul in 1987 and the engine was rebuilt and enlarged to 3.2L and a 5-speed manual swap. Items that have been addressed by the current owner include:
